Christmas.

For lovers of Christ, this is an amazing time of the year. As a dad, find time to talk to your kids about the Christ of this season. They are going to get plenty of input about Santa and even a lot about having a generous heart.

They are probably only going to hear about Jesus Christ from you.

I remember making my goal "to put the hands of my kids firmly into the hands of Jesus." They need an introduction and good information about who Jesus really is. You have probably taught your kids not to trust strangers. Well, you need to make sure Jesus is not a "stranger" to them.

Men are pretty good about being goal driven. Once you set a goal, you're willing to do some things others might not understand but that's OK because you have a goal. Since my goal was to let my kids know how great Jesus Christ is, I did some things others might think were strange. Oh well... Today my three kids aren't kids anymore. They are adults (two of them married, one with kids of her own) and they are all lovers of Christ.
